Zucchini
The zucchini from Almeria is a soft and light vegetable with multiple healthy qualities. It is widely consumed in all Mediterranean countries, as well as in Holland and North America.
The zucchini is characterized by:
- Its shape, which can be elongated but can also be spherical.
- Ideally, its size is between fourteen and twenty centimeters, although in some cases it can reach forty centimeters.
-Its weight is between 200 and 300 grams.
- The color of its skin is variable, we can find a yellowish, light green, dark or even black skin. In some varieties there may be gray dots and their skin is always white.
High in fiber
Zucchini is an ideal vegetable for people who want to lose weight, due to its high fiber content and low calorie content.
Diuretic
Zucchini is composed of 95% water. Zucchini is diuretic because it stimulates our body to eliminate liquids and reduces fluid retention.
Vitamins
According to research, 100g of zucchini contain 7mg of vitamin C; this same amount offers 0.35g of vitamin B3 and provitamin A.

The usefulness of zucchini to deflate the eyes, strengthens hair, improves brain health, fights acne and eliminates toxins from the skin.
