Onion
The organic onion belongs to the genus Allium, of the liliaceae family, which also includes spring onions, chives, leeks... Like most vegetables, the onion is very rich in water, in fact water represents about 90% of its composition. In addition, it is remarkable for its high content in fiber, vitamins and minerals, and its low caloric value.
As it is an organic product, no pesticides or chemical fertilizers have been used that could affect the final product.

Onions are rich in flavonoids and sulfur compounds, which are responsible for their aroma. Anthocyanins are responsible for the pink or purplish color of certain onion varieties.
